7 ways to look at blind eyes
Although he may not witness
He can feel
Watch him as he struggles
Through a war from within
Blindly those eyes do not see tragedy
But if not to see it
They must feel it
Sharpened senses
Allows him to wield inhuman capabilities
Realization to why eyes are not a necessity
Your other senses guide you on another path
The aging of your children, your family
You can not vision them maturing
While to yourself you do not age
Lacking pupils
Creates an empty lake of tears
In those tragic eyes.

6 ways to look at deaf ears
The melodies that help
You escape
Are now contained
Never having to hear
Backstabbing words
From behind you
No harmful words
Can crawl into
The shallow mind
The cries of suffering
You don’t ignore
But wish to hear
Only they spray across your
Unknowing face
Missing your toddler’s laughter
And never to hear the words
“I love you”
You experience a different world
Having to imagine voices
Inside a head that cannot control
The outside world.
The melodies that help
You escape
Are now contained
Never having to hear
Backstabbing words
From behind you
No harmful words
Can crawl into
The shallow mind
The cries of suffering
You don’t ignore
But wish to hear
Only they spray across your
Unknowing face
Missing your toddler’s laughter
And never to hear the words
“I love you”
You experience a different world
Having to imagine voices
Inside a head that cannot control
The outside world.
